God’s Word is just as important for kids as it is for adults. When they read the Bible (or hear it read to them), children learn about their Savior, Jesus! They can carry these Bible truths in their hearts and use them every day. God’s Word brings us joy, hope, peace, grace, and so much more! Help your child get into the Bible with these easy activities. Read a Bible story to your child and then try one of these:
- Draw the story. Use pencil and paper, or get more creative with paint, felt, and other crafting supplies.
- Reenact the story. Each person picks a person in the Bible story—a great way to get the whole family involved.
- Retell the Bible story using present-day people and circumstances. Relate the story to situations your child might face at school or within his or her group of friends.
